This year’s SPIEL Essen was packed with excitement, reflecting a record-high enthusiasm for board games. One of the major highlights was a world record Catan challenge featuring 1,170 players participating simultaneously, creating a spectacular and memorable scene that perfectly demonstrated the vitality of board game culture.
The exhibition also introduced the highly popular SPIEL.talks section for the first time. Industry experts from around the world shared deep insights on topics such as game design, crowdfunding, manufacturing, and logistics — offering fresh perspectives and trend forecasts for the global tabletop industry.

During the exhibition, Kylin Manufactory engaged in face-to-face communication with numerous international publishers and designers, presenting our capabilities in complete board game production, paper printing, wooden components, resin accessories, metal and acrylic components, and more. Many new and longstanding partners visited our booth to discuss upcoming 2025–2026 projects, and we concluded the event with valuable collaborations in progress and new industry insights.

This year’s Europe Masters Championship gathered 37 teams from 17 countries, with Germany’s team Ludo Ergo Sum winning the European title.
